Seeking intern and interpreters for 71st CEDAW session

IWRAW Asia Pacific is preparing for the upcoming 71st CEDAW session in October 2018 and we are currently looking for a Geneva-based intern to provide support for our From Global to Local programme from 19 October to 3 November 2018 in Geneva. Some of the tasks include notetaking during the training and the CEDAW session, providing logistical support for the training, providing support for facilitating NGO participation in the CEDAW session, etc. It’s an opportunity to meet activists from eight countries around the world and experience a treaty body review. We will be paying a nominal honorarium.

Please email us by or before 28 September if you’re interested in working with us. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

We are also looking for a Geneva-based Russian interpreter to provide support for activists from Tajikistan at our From Global to Local programme on 26 October 2018.

As you may already know, we work with a limited budget and are unable to pay the costs of a professional interpreter and we largely depend on volunteers, with a nominal honorarium.

Please circulate this information to your network and help us connect with those who are interested. Please write to us at iwraw-ap@iwraw-ap.org should you need any further information. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
