The CEDAW Committee heads to the Pacific!

Upon request of the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders, the CEDAW Committee is hosting the Pacific Technical Cooperation session from 7 -11 April in Suva, Fiji, which will host country exchanges with Fiji, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu based on their recently submitted periodic reports to the Committee.

COVID-19 Disruption

State Reviews

State Reviews have resumed with the CEDAW Committee meeting in person at the United Nations in Geneva. As of February 2024, the United Nations Office at Geneva has ceased servicing all hybrid or virtual meetings, meaning that all official NGO engagement during CEDAW sessions is only possible in person at the United Nations in Geneva.
