Results of the CEDAW Elections 2024

Congratulations to the newly elected members of the CEDAW Committee!

At the 23rd meeting of states parties held on 7 June 2024 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, 188 state parties to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) cast their vote for 11 new and re-elected members of the CEDAW Committee.

The elected members are as follows:*

  8. Ms Patsilí Toledo Vásquez (Chile)
  9. Ms Madina Jarbussynova (Kazakhstan)
  10. Ms Mu Hong (China)
